Wish to Travel and see the world

im a 19 year old female (USA) thats looking for a group of people or just another person that wants to see the world. I know very basic Italian and a little spanish. I really want to just get out and explore what the rest of the world has to offer. I want to fly over to london at the end of December and go from there. Anyone interested in meeting up or has plans already to do so. I havent really made any plans yet but im up for suggestions

Hello Christina, my name is Jorge, I’m a 28yo portughese (I speak little Italian, good spanish and very good english)...
I’m planning to backpack the world, starting in Portugal, get a train to Moscow and then on taking the Transsiberian railroad all the way to Vladivostok, then maybe cross the Great Wall of China and so on…
I was thinking on leaving in January / February 2010 (you can come in December, stay in my parents home, so I could show you a bit of Portugal meanwhile) and I don’t have a timetable so it would take as long as necessary. On my/our travel I want to see the world, discover and understand different cultures, meet new people and basically penetrate the essence of the world we live in.
I’m a Zen kind of guy so you can trust me to be honest and say what I have to say, I hate being a tourist with a nice budget, so if in the meanwhile have to do some work to increase funds I will and hope you feel the same way…

It sounds intrigueing Christina. I'm a 27 year-old male from new jersey looking for a long-duration adventure that is really come what may. Well, I was actually planning somewhat the same, but I managed to navigate myself to focus on asia, thought i'd get a flight to moscow a few days after new years eve and take the week long railroad journey through siberia and mongolia, and start off in Beijing.. and then head south or so, checking out vietnam, cambodia etc.
