I am going with my boyfriend and my uncle suggested going to Rothenberg! So my question is... Since I am going to Berlin as an original destination, what would the cheapest and quickest form of travel be to do if I want to go from Berlin-->to Rothenberg-->to Munich-->back to berlin and do this with in a couple days? I just want to know the price and the quickest form of travel! Thank you!!! | Mell Mell Post Count: 15048 Msg: #2 24 weeks ago, July 11th 2009 | Hello Tasha | The cheapest price for a train journey in Germany is 29 Euros including taxes. This is for the night trains and in a seat rather than a sleeper. Sleepers are around 49 Euros. Getting tickets at this price would involve booking in advance on the internet. These bargain tickets sell out. You can book them up to around 80 days in advance on www.db.de Flying from Munich to Berlin and visa versa is the quickest. You could try GermanWings to try to score a bargin. The cheapest I got was 29 Euros including taxes. Dont know if they are offering flights at that price these days.
