yoavbo Yoav B Post Count: 28 Msg: #1 158 days ago, June 29th 2009 | Hey, | I'm currently planning my trip to Thailand-Australia-New Zealand-China. I'm considering whether to buy plane tickets here in Israel or buy them during the trip. Someone told me that plane tickets are much cheaper in Thailand. Is that true? hkyeti patrick yeung Post Count: 11 Msg: #2 142 days ago, July 15th 2009 | hi there, | bkk is a major transit for passengers , you can find tickets that are cheaper, but not that much. you can check airasia, it provide very cheap ticket to australia. Cheers! blonk Scott Hutchison Post Count: 94 Msg: #3 96 days ago, August 30th 2009 | I flew Thai Airways all over Thailand just last month (August), I tried booking online, at airport, but found best prices over the phone.. Most Thai people I met swear they would never fly Air Asia again after the first time. I think the most I spent on an internal plane ticket was $68 AUD from Hat Yai to Bangkok. Chang Rai to Bangkok would have been next at $59 AUD.. I bypassed Phuket and Samui as I went to Thailand to see Thailand not Ferangland.. So I have no idea about prices to these locations, But guessing being the top destination for whitefella's I imagine the prices would be more. | Thai Airways flew me back to Australia for $300 US incl. We flew from KL to BKK for £20. BKK to Hanoi was about £40. They have some awesome deals on sometimes, with flights for a baht plus taxes..... but the flights are usually a good price. blonk Scott Hutchison Post Count: 94 Msg: #6 59 days ago, October 5th 2009 | I also bought a lot of tickets at the airport.. Shop around.. I bought Thai Airways tickets from Air Asia cheaper than what Thai Airway would sell them (Flew Thai Airways, Bought from Air Asia), I bought Jetstar tickets from Vietnam Airlines cheaper than what Jetstar would sell them( Flew Jetstar, bought from Vietnam Airlines), Didnt bother trying to work it out just got on the plane no problems, maybe they have a deal between them, but definately worth shopping aorund at Airport.. Find a local, or they will find you that speaks the local lingo and you may even get a better deal.. | Number of Users: 5 | Number of Posts: 6 | ||||||||||||||
