Hello all,

Before I start planning my trip to Japan, I read all comments and posts on the forum but I still have some doubts and I need help.

I'll arrive in Tokyo and this my itinerary. This will change a lot since I still looking for information.

I'll go first from Tokyo till Fukuoka by train.
Fukuoka 3 days to go to ASO, Nagasaki and Miyajima
From Miyajima I'll take the train to Hiroshima
From Hiroshima I'll go to Kyoto (if possible via Himeji to see the castle).
In Kyoto I'll stay 3 days to go to Nara, Matsumoto and Nikkei
From Kyoto I'll go to Tokyo to the last 3 days of the trip.

Should I cute or add antyhing here ?

I'd like to thank everybody for all replies and tips.

Cheers
Alex

Alex,

I'm Japanese and I'm in Tokyo.
I think you do not need to add anything. It's enough for you to enjoy Japan.
I recommend to try to eat Japanese traditinal foods on each places.

Enjoy!!!

I think your trip sounds good. Your hitting a lot of highlights and a couple diamonds in the rough. Good for you!

My only question is, how are you getting from Fukuoka to Miyajima? I wasn't aware that there was a ferry or way to get there. You might want to backtrack to Hiroshima first and then head out to Miyajima. There are direct train routes between Hiroshima and Miyajima that don't take that much time at all.

I agree with azatooth. If you can add a day in Osaka I think you should. Osaka is so different from Tokyo and it has such good food! Reply to this
