cesarNZ jason Post Count: 1 Msg: #1 28 weeks ago, June 22nd 2009 | hi all, | am travelling to Malaysia for the first time. landing at KL and then heading off to kuantan. got accomodation sorted so was just wanting to know what are things to do and see in KL and kuantan ?? am more interested in Malaysian food more than anything else :) so please advise of whats good and whats not. Also where to eat and which places to keep away from ? thanks in advance. China town (For Fake stuff, Always barg with them for the prices, if they says 200RM,, tell him 30RM .. good luck..loool). 4. I would recommand Genting Highlands (1 hour by train from KL, dont miss the Cable Car). 5. Try not to be alone late at night. 6. Try to take Taxi's using meter if you are going some where far. 7. Kuantan have nice beaches , I have been there only once. Malaysian Food: Nasi Lamak (Malaysian Favourite dishI guess), Nasi Goreang USA Daging, Nasi Paprik Ayam/Daging, Tom Yam Sup.
