senorfelix Felix Post Count: 2 Msg: #1 160 days ago, June 18th 2009 | Hey all! | Spent the last nine months in Taganga, Colombia, just by Santa Marta, working for a University over there. For one months I stayed at Casa Redonda, with Sebastien and Emili from Belgium, who basically emigrated to Colombia. The house is new, modern and clean clean clean. One big bed with mosquito net and a private bathroom. Plus, in the mornings you are woken up by the sunrise from behind the mountains and at night you can see the sun go down in the ocean... Would say definiteley one of the best views in Taganga! Also, they have built a great relationship with los Taganegeros (the locals) so if you are interested in getting in touch with Taganga life behind the tourist fassades of the garaje (the local backpackerbar) and scubadiving, this is the place to go.... Further, as graduate of Sustainable Tourism Sebastien not only knows his way around in the Tayrona National Park, but can also lead you to the hidden natural gems around Santa Marta! Finally, Emilia makes the most delicious organic food (ask for the Argentinian empanadas... deli) So, enjoy the place... (I hope to be back soon). <snip> Enjoy!
