hello hello

looking for what a travel backpack is called when it has the detachable smaller one on it? I am in need of a new one before i head back out... any suggestions? I would prefer one with a smaller one that attaches Reply to this

'Rucksack plus daysack' into google will net you loads of results, I just bought myself a Berghouse Jalan 70Litre with 15litre detachable daysack.
Even has wheels like a normal suitcase.

There are hundreds of different types though. I would definitely suggest reading reviews from severall different websites before buying. Good luck!

Probably not what you're looking for but I have a Gregory Z-pack that I used to haul everything I needed for three weeks of backpacking through Europe. I rolled up a small school type backpack in the top pocket that I used for day trips with no problem.
I would make sure the day pack is the old school cushion straps and no other padding. I've seen packs for school that weigh a couple of pounds alone with all the bells, whistles and padding they put on them now.
