Reply to this I met a couple who had cycled accross Iran when I was in Kyrgyzstan. They used to ask people in Iran if they could camp on their land. They said they had no problems, except that they sometimes felt like hiding because people were so hospitable.

We have deserts, mountainous area, jungle, national parks and sea for camping.
