Hey!
I'm planning a trip around South East Asia (probably skipping Thailand as I've been before) and I'm looking to see if anyone would be interested in meeting up?!
I'm female, 25(almost!), from the UK, living in China and I'll be travelling alone, so it'd be to great to meet up with some people to travel with/have a few beers with/etc etc, even though I'm sure I'll be meeting plenty of folks on the way!
Having looked at travelfish itineraries etc, here is my "super flexible, most definitely going to change itinerary!".....
I'm currently in Jiangxi, China and next week I'm heading to Yunnan province with some friends, but after the 17th June I will be on my own heading to...
Kūnmíng, Yuanyang rice terraces,Xīshuāngbǎnnà
Then I hope to cross the border into Laos to
Muang Sing (trekking, backpacker scene)
Luang Nam Tha (trekking, eco-tourism)
Udomxai (temple, waterfalls)
Muang Ngoi (small town, riverside setting, backpacker scene)
Luang Prabang (temples, riverside town, scenic)
Vang Vieng (scenic, backpacker scene)
Vientiane (capital city, temples, riverside city)
Tha Khaek (riverside town, caves, scenic)
Savannakhet (riverside town, national parks, colonial architecture)
Pakse (riverside town, daytrips)
Champasak (ruins)
Four Thousand Islands - Don Khong, Don Dhet & Don Khon (scenic, waterfalls, backpacker scene)
Cross border into Cambodia
Stung Treng (Riverside town, gateway to Laos)
Kratie (riverside town, dolphins)
Phnom Penh (capital city, colonial architecture, scenic)
Siem Reap (Angkor Wat, backpacker scene)
Battambang (riverside town, rural daytrips, ruins
Kep /Ko Tonsay(beaches, island)
Phnom Penh
Cross border into Vietnam
Chau Doc (riverine life, border crosing to Cambodia)
Saigon (museums, nightlife, daytrips
Mui Ne (beaches, sand dunes)
Nha Trang (beaches, boat trips
Hoi An (riverside town, shopping, tailoring)
Hue (Imperial capital, temples, trips to DMZ
Hanoi (capital city, colonial architecture, shopping)
Ha Long Bay (stunning scenery)
Cross border back into China .go to Guilin/Yangshuo or Hainan or Jingdezhen OR fly to Myanmar, via Bangkok most probably.
As a guestimate, I'd say I should finish this "itinerary" around August/September.
Any of you backpackers on a budget interested?!

Hi, your potential itinerary sounds wonderful....how long are you looking to travel? I am 23/female looking for a travel partner. I am in South Korea right now and I have about 2-3 weeks from August 10-early September, thinking about Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. What are your dates? Reply to this

Hi. I am currently in KL right now and will be traveling to Phnom Pehn on the 15th. How long do you plan to be in Laos? I may be able to meet up with you for part of the Cambodia itinerary!

Hey! Sorry I've been a bit slow-currently in Yunnan province and I'm guessing I'll prob be heading into Laos sometime in the next week or two..then stay for maybe a month?
My itinerary is pretty flexible so I cant really confirm any dates for when I'll be in a set place as of yet...but it would be great if we could cross paths!

Hey no worries, I'm planning my timetable as I go along as well. I leave for Siem Reap tomorrow and will be heading to Singapore next week. Unfortunately I guess we won't cross paths. Until the next time...
Good luck with the rest of your trip!
