I've been planning my trip to Italy and think I found a good mix of thigns to do. Can people look and comment on if they think I did a good job?
It looks like you've got a good, well-rounded plan here to me. You aren't trying to do "too much," which is good (unless of course you are fitting this into 5 days or something...!) and the things you are doing are the things that people generally do! Of course I suggest just walking around Rome in the evening, enjoying the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. THere's also the Vatican (with the sistine chapel). Florence is great for just walking as well... have you thought of visiting the Uffizi Gallery? Don't forget that David is in Florence!
Reply to this I had been to Milan and Venice in Italy but that was at different times. For Milan I booked it with
http://www.mymilan.co.uk and for venice it was
http://www.myvenice.co.uk. Though both were the same travel agents but they offered me very cheap rates inclusine of flight and hotel. The arrangement was admirable and I never felt a itch about them whole through the journey. They also provide the info about the city in their website as mentioned abouve. Everything that you could need about. All about the market places, transportation, about nightlife. They have everything to offer to any age group. Just check out the prices and you would say WoW!
Reply to this Hey,
If you have a little time then there are few little places that are amazing.
From Rome you could do a day trip to Pompei.
Also there is a place North East from Florence called the Cinque Terre. Its five little
towns that are connected via an amazing Trek. This is a great place to go if you
like trekking and beautiful scenery.
Enjoy your trip!
