Can i reach all the places in tokyo via subway? 2. How expensive is the subway? 3. Can you use a japan rail pass on the subway? If i can reach these places in tokyo using the subway, would my best course of action be to use the subway in tokyo, buy a one week JR pass to get me to kyoto and back? Also does anybody know where to get ghibli museum tickets without paying for a guided tour? A couple of day pass options are the 'Tokyo Free Kippu' (about 1500 yen - JR trains and subway in central Tokyo) and the 'Tokunai Pass' (about 700 yen - JR trains in central Tokyo). The JR rail pass can't be used on subways, it's best use is when you're travelling longer distances within a limited time - if you use one for the Kyoto section you'll be able to use it on local trains there. The Ghibli museum tickets can be bought at any Lawsons convenience store. It might pay to bring something with the Ghibli logo on it if you don't speak Japanese - but they will be more than willing to help you with the ticket machine. kellwinkle kelly fury Post Count: 5 Msg: #3 200 days ago, May 4th 2009 | I know you need to buy the ghible ticket in advance, but how far in advance? do they run out quickly? | Number of Users: 2 | Number of Posts: 3 | |||||||||||
