Volunteering

Wanting some info with volunteering on organic farms and with turtles

I will be backpacking central america in january starting in panama and moving up into mexico. I would love to spend some time working on organic farms and working with turtles too. Any other opportunity to do some volunteering and learn about the culture would be amazing too. can anyone help me out here.

There was a member here a while ago who gave information about volunteering with turtles. Now, I cant remember her name. Her thread about it is in the Other Travel Sites forum.

hey..we are goin to do some turtle conservation in costa rica and we found a place which charges only about USD$15 a night inc accomoodation, food. Here's the site..

Hi Eric,

I've seen this opportunity to volunteer with sea turtles and thought it may be of interest to you. it looks quite good but I guess it depends on how long you pland on doing volunteering etc for coz thuink the minimum is a week with this one
