From there you take a panga/canoe/about $7.usd to Capurguna. It's beautiful there, and you'll really enjoy yourself. When you get off the dock with immigration, there's a hotel on the left: there you can rent a room or a hammock. You can get a vistors stamp on your passport and take a canoe to Turbo, Colombia. Stay at the Hotel Altemirante.....or right across from the docks there are places to stay. Colombia is safe/a lot safer than Costa Rica and nicer. 2. if you want romantic, go to Cartagena, Colombia. It's beautiful, and safer than Costa Rica with alot more to do. Take a bus from Catragena to Bogota, stay at one of the numerous "pensiones" for a few days. Take a bus from Bogota to Lucretia, Colombia and take the 8 day boat ride to Manuas, Brazil. You will need to check with the Brazilian embassy for visa requirements. You need to bring your own water/food and you will sleep on a hamock. The monkees at night will keep you awake, but it's a beautiful experience.
