PA Leslie Pierre-Alexandre Post Count: 864 Msg: #3 258 days ago, March 8th 2009 | Hi, | Yes it's possible...if you fly, you have Auckland-Santiago on Lan Chile. You also have Auckland-Buenos Aires on Argentinas Aerolineas. If you do one way flight, it will be expensive whatever you do...it may be cheaper to get a cheap return and dump the return leg. There is one more alternative, fly to Papette, on Air New Zealand or Air Tahiti Niu, than connect one Lan which is doing Tahiti to Easter Ilsand and Easter Island to Santiago. It will be way more expensive though...but a lot more fun stops..the return ticket rules may still happen. Not sure you may even find a boat to do these legs. So first an cheapest rule, if you are lucky enough to have miles on Onewolrd to use. Or look for a cheap return ticket and forget the return.
