| What is a good insurance company to look in to? Travel Insured International is one I have heard a bit about and another is World Nomads. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Spizz Jacob S. Post Count: 5 Msg: #1 51 weeks ago, January 12th 2009 | I am leaving in a week for Central America and I would like to get insurance for the 3 months that I will be there. I am taking a camera (about $400) and other standard things (pack, clothes, gear, etc...). I would like to at least do some scuba diving and maybe a little more. Other than that, just float around and have a good time meeting people and seeing the sights and sites. Any suggestions? | Mikey M Mike Meggiato Post Count: 325 Msg: #2 50 weeks ago, January 13th 2009 | Hey Spizz, I used world nomads for my world trip and they sorted out my hospital treatment in Bangkok and my caerma that was stolen in Chile, I did scuba and a bunjee and skydive etc and it was all covered and you can do everything on the net or over the phone, so id say world nomads would be a good choice, but im sure the maybe some others out there. | Just let me know if you have anymore questions? Take care Mike:) Spizz Jacob S. Post Count: 5 Msg: #3 50 weeks ago, January 13th 2009 | Sweet, thanks! Thats what I am looking to hear; good dealings with a group. Thanks for the help. Did you have to have a receipt for the camera? | Mikey M Mike Meggiato Post Count: 325 Msg: #4 50 weeks ago, January 14th 2009 | I had a bank statement and a manual and that was enough for them:) | Spizz Jacob S.
