We flew into seville and rented a car and drove around the country and flew out of Barcelona. My husband's favorite was Seville (just a very walkable, beautiful town) but my favorite was Barcelona - there is plenty to see, don't miss the Barri Gothic, Sagrada Familia, walk down the Ramblas. | I liked using Rick Steve's book on finding places to see, he has a bunch of itineraries that cover the major sites. But I used the Internet more to find interesting places to stay and eat. www.eatsleepgo.com. We stayed at a few really charming, local places - not low-end, but mid to high end establishments that weren't the usual chain experiences (In Seville, the Las Casa del Rey de Baeza, and in Tarifa, the La Sacristia).
