Hello all,
I'm from Italy and I'll be traveling to Ethipia, so I would like to have some info about Ethipia. I'm planning to arrive in Addis Ababa october 12....I want to do the Omo valley tour and I have some questions
I have 11 days so I'm planning to stay 1 night in Addis, then depart to Arbaminch stay there 2 nights and go to jinka via knso another 2 nights. Then I would like to go to Turmi and stay there 2 nights. Then yabelo one night.I'm not sure if it is possible to get to Awash national park from Yabelo the next day and how long that would take. Is Awash national park close from the city of Awash. What do you think about this plan? Anything to add or to take off? Any other itinerary to suggest?
What do you recommend to see in the Omo valley some thing interesting I should not miss.
And which company do you recommend from the ones which are based in the capital Addis.(well prearranged and reliable)
Thank you all!!!
Roberto Rabatoni.

Hello Roberto
As I am planning to visit the Omo valley in November I have been quoted an itinerary
By visit Ethiopia Tours and Travel which seems to cover the whole touristic areas of the omo valley. You can include Adadi mariam rock hewn church the Karo and corcho villages in murulle, the Dasenech tribes across the omo river and lake Rodolfo(lake turkana)as all are close to each other. As regards to the tour company, Two of years back we had been to the dallol depression and the historic rout with my wife and other groups of French tourists. It was a great experience especially for me. The tour package was organized by Visit Ethiopia tours and travel. We did not face any difficulty as everything was well prearranged. Try to contact Mr.mikias the tour operation head. info@visitethiopia.com.et
The best way is sending your requests to some companies so you can compare their itinerary and their price.
