What's the best beach in the Philippines?

What is the best beach in the Philippines?
I have heard of Boracay, but it seems very touristy already.
I'm looking for nature here. So my criteria are:

Beach Crowd: The lesser people the better, but a moderate crowd would be ok.
Location: I don't mind the place being a bit out of the way, within reason.
Nature: Large white sand beaches, coral reefs, no pollution

anyway that's my question!
Thanks in advance for the answers! Reply to this

Definetly Palawan! The snorkelling/diving there is out of this world! This article actually lists and reviews the main beaches of palawan: http://www.smarttravelasia.com/palawan.htm ..but i have to say that coron is my favourite..i hope this helps. Reply to this

If you want to avoid a lot of crowds and enjoy a place very few tourists have seen, go visit Pagudpud. Beautiful beaches and wonderful people. There are plenty of resorts to choose from. Reply to this

Hi,

You can check on my blog...we went to El Nido last October and it was paradise. There are 2 main resorts, Lagen and Miniloc, both run by the same company and you have access to both. Funny enough, the cheapest was the best...Miniloc. We did stay on both and I've got entries on both.

hi liuwei! can't help posting a reply. you may want to check out my blog and those of others on tagaytay. if you are leaving on march 27 at 8pm, you need to be at the airport by 5pm, which means you may have to leave tagaytay soon after lunch. you may not have enough time to take the boat and cross the lake, trek to the crater lake. but it would still be worth your while to go visit tagaytay and enjoy a view of taal lake and volcano from the ridge, perhaps while enjoying breakfast or brunch. I heard about Dumaguete Islands. But haven't been there myself.

It might be still worth checking out Boracay also since you're already in the Philippines.
Especially with only about $10 or Php 350 (one-way) promo fare from Manila to go to Boracay. Visit my site for more flight travel promotions in the Philippines and Asia.

there are so many wonderful beaches in the Philippines and it is hard to decide which one is the best, i think it all depends on what you like most. if you have time, you can try more beaches. and you may meet some hotduring your trip.

I highly suggest the Visayan Island of Guimaras, just 15 minutes from Iloilo City by boat. Less crowd and stunning scenery and beaches.

For more information about Guimaras, you can read my posts in my blog:
