They usually pay between 1.2 - 1.7 cents a point/mile. I know frequentflyerdepot.com buys them for 1.6 cents a point/mile. You might be able to get a better deal for yourself, if you know someone flying a premier class internationaly. That's where it's a win win for both parties.
