Hi guys. India sounds amazing, I am thinking of putting it in the plans in September but we'll see.
I left my job in Asia in May and have been in the Middle East traveling and am now living in Paris for the summer. From here (currently routing a RTW ticket) through HK, India?, Bali, Oz, Fiji, Tahiti, home to Texas for a bit as I haven't actually been back in 2 years, Costa Rica, Cuba, Colombia to Brazil.
I'm curious to know if anybody has done any travel in Tahiti, I don't really hear much about it aside from the honeymoon crowds...
Happy travels everybody, wherever they take you. - Amy Reply to this

Ok, I'm a little stunned by the no camera thing .. but I'm a photography junky! I didn't like my travel shots so I got a better camera and joined a photography group to get better!

India is amazing and the Taj is beautiful. I expected to be a bit over rated as everyone raves about it, but having been there - I am now a raver too. Even though there are a heap of people all through it - it feels peaceful and the inlay detail work on the building is mind blowing.

Enjoy your trip

Hehe! Looks like the no camera thing is going to be one of those topics that is discussed more than it deserves. :D Reply to this

I've just booked and paid for my next trip... In January I'm going to Mexico for 2 months and then to Costa Rica for a few weeks... I'm learning Spanish for the first month in Mexico - hopefully I'll be able to improve through practice as my trip continues 😊

I'm also hoping to go away somewhere for 3 or 4 nights over New Year... I'm from the UK so somewhere in Europe... any suggestions? I'm thinking Berlin.

My boyfriend and daughter are going to the Netherlands while I am in Kyrgyzstan. My boyfriend just bought the tickets.

Anyplace in Germany is good for New Years Eve Ryan. There will be fireworks everywhere at midnight. If I was to choose a particular place I would also choose Berlin. Reply to this

India is the place where you can find a diverse range of attractive places with some best hospitality. The government has really understood the importance of tourism, so, they are really providing all necessary facilities to make it the best and top tourist destination. I would like to post my favourite link where we can find your favourite travel and hotel deals at low airfares. Reply to this

Hello James 😊

Please do not repost that link which you have been posting in most of your threads so far. You can put it and information about it in your profile.

The next trip we will be taking is to Slovenia and Croatia in Sep of 2008. My wife and I are kinda trip planning freaks. I just started to put the details of all our past trips here: Please check out my Trip-at-a-Glance spreedsheet for our last trip that I just posted. I plan on converting all my personal sheet to this format so that our friends can use them.

Hi! My next trip is a big one. I'll be doing a short voluntary project and and traveling in Cambodia during mid-Oct. From there, Vietnam, Laos, Southern China, Tibet, Nepal, India, the Middle East, and then finally around Europe. Will probably stay for a bit in UK to replenish my funds and also in France to take up the language.

I'm really excited about this but slightly nervous as well, as this is my first solo big trip!

Cheers! And Bon Voyage! Reply to this

I just bought another plane ticket for another trip to India for next May. I am so excited about my upcomming trips to India. I have been wanting to go back there for 10 years, and now 2 trips in one year. 😊

Hello Gill 😊
You could put a post in the Looking for Travel Companions Forum, to find people to travel with, if you want. Mel

Not planning a trip as such as we have been away from the UK for over 2 years so we are constantly looking at new places and planning the next parts of our adventure.

The latest lot of planning was around a big debate we had on where to spend Christmas...India won! So we fly in 9 days and we are very excited.

We don't really plan ahead too much, around 2-3 months in advance ,just long enough so we can book cheap flights/give us time to put together a list of places to visit in that country. But we still hope to visit Japan, Myanmar, Central America, US and Canada as well as parts of Africa. Ambitious of us and we aren't sure if we'll get to see them all on this trip but we'll try! My son and I will fly into the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California, in 2009. We will explore Hollywood and Beverly Hills. We will go to Sequoia National Park to see the big trees. We will end up in Las Vegas at the Bellagio. Reply to this
