Split area - accommodation
Where to stay - to relax and sightsee?
N Posts: 2
We are visiting Croatia for 2 weeks in Aug/Sept and would like to stay around Split or Trojir for the first 4 to 5 days. Can anybody recommend any nice apartments that are in the area, which are serviced by public transport because we do not want to hire a car. We also love snorkeling and would like to stay by the sea so that we can relax too at the start of our trip. Hope you can help, Nic

If you can afford apartments for about 150Euros a night I would recommend to stay inside the old town Dicletian's palace because you can feel the city's soul. If not there are 60-80Euro apartments outside the old town walls. All places are covered by public transport...but to have more comfort chose your accommodation in the southe part of the city since it is close to the sea. Reply to this

I searched for Croatia seaside cottages on Google, and I got a number of them. Why don't you try this method for yourself? Reply to this

It is very easy to find a nice apartment in Trogir. Perhaps this will help you: <snip>. The facility is situated by the main road, so you can travel by bus.
