Fact or fiction?

Telepathy

Do you believe telepathy exists or do those who claim to use it just have over active imaginations? Have you experienced it? If so, do you trust the information you receive via telepathy?

Last night I dreamed about a travel buddy whom I have not heard from for a couple of months. This morning there was a message from him in my email. Coincidence?

A few years ago a friend from university whom I had heard nothing from for a few years suddenly popped into my mind. I kept thinking about her all day and wondering if I should call her. I went to the phone several times but didnt call because I did not know what to say to somebody I had not spoken with in years. I even started dialing a couple of times. Next day I got a call from her. She said, ''yesterday I was passing your mothers office and I thought, I should call Mel.''.

hi mell,

this is an interesting topic, with your egs. I dont knw alot of it, but i think i believe. Several years ago while i was in college, a tutor paired me up with this guy whom i didnt knw in my social theory class. We rarely talked, only exchanged a thesis report once. One night, i dreamt of this guy telling me that today is his birthday. When I woke up, I went around digging for that copy of his report (which was handed to me months ago), and stated on the front cover was his date of birth, and scarily, it was his birthday that day. Coincidence too? hehe... i have no idea.

then another story, this Malaysian chinese guy - Robin was rather famous with the US govn. He was invited to talk on telephaty by a Malaysia radio station in Dec 2006. According to him, every one is 'so-called' gifted with telephaty, but whether you push yourself to make full use of it or not. If you don't it'll slowly go away. As for him, he discovered himself with such gift when he was a teenager. His current abilities are being able to drive the car with a blindfold, and if he touches you and concentrate on your thinking, he is able to read your minds. He tried this out with several DJs at the show, and 2 other invited guests who doubted telephaty. Freaking enough, he said out what they were thinking!!

At the end of the day, he was asked to write down several incidents he forsee happening to Malaysia in the near future, there and then - that will be published in the newspapers. He predicted 10 items, wrote it down and sealed it in an envelope with 3 people's signature on the cover: of himself and 2 other djs. No one knew what he wrote except for himself.

In Feb 2007, he was once again invited on the show, as a conslusion. And they opened the sealed enveloped with 5 other witnesses around. The signatures were all intact, still as before, and as they read out the 10 items one bye one, ALL of them were news that appeared in our local dailies that day. One of them being the flood in Johor(South of west Malaysia) that destroyed many things and killed several people, another one of schoolkids drowned when their bus plunged into a river, etc... I couldnt remember all of them, but all were proven to be true with no tricks.

Robin is now working for the US govn, Im not sure in what field, but they actually invited him there coz of his ability, and he did say, this kind of gift should be used properly, not for showing off or to harm others. I didnt know his surname, and went online to search for more infos of this man, but couldnt find any.

do you believe then? 😊
* i just realise this is a long post ;p

Yeah, I believe that there is something to it, since I seem to have a telepathic connection with family and friends. I dont think it is just coincidence. Reply to this

I agree. I have experienced it quite a bit as well. Similar things to Mel as i will have a dream about someone I haven't talked to in ages and then I'll get a call or email from them. I also often have a conversation in a dream and then the next day or so end up having that same conversation word for word, with the same person in real life. Certainly on my part people could argue that i somehow bring the conversation about even subconsciously because it's kind of "on my brain". However, there's no accounting for the other person saying the same exact things that they did in my dream.

On a similar but slightly different topic, my mom has a friend who will randomly "see" someone in a place where they don't belong (e.g. she was in a cab on vacation and turned around and "saw"someone from home in the cab behind her). Every time this happens, she finds out a few minutes later that the person she "saw" has just passed away. It occurs with people who are completely healthy so no reason for her to think they'd have passed away. It's really freaky, it's happened with about 4 people, including her own father, and other friends can verify it. Reply to this

they had actually already passed away. The creepiest story was that she and her sister had flown down south to visit her mom bc she was very ill. Their dad was still up near their home town. she was in a cab when she arrived down south and looked in the cab behind her and "saw" her dad. She looked at her sister and said "we have to go home, dad's dead". Her sister thought she was nuts b/c their dad was healthy, her mom was very ill. But they called their brother back at home and he said that their dad had suddenly died of a heart attack a few hours ago! Reply to this
