Is Israel safe to travel as a single female?

I think Israel is safe, as far as female traveller issues are concerned.

Hi,

I'm a single female living in Israel and it is safe, but if you are moderately attractive, you will be stopped on the street by men. Most are totally harmless, but use good common sense and don't accept unsavory invitations. Of course, talking to them in a public place is fine and can lead to new friendships.
