| what's a good route to explore Japan in 7 days? | |||||||||
 Adventures of a Travel Addict Ann Jaimi Post Count: 28 Msg: #1 83 weeks ago, May 26th 2008 | I will be travelling to Japan the last week of July and have 7 days to explore the country. | I\'m going to get the rail pass and am trying to plan out my route now. What are some places that I just should not miss (of course, Tokyo and Kyoto are already on the list)? I\'m not going to go further north than Tokyo, mainly the mid and southern islands. I also really want to go to the real south island where there are beaches time permitting though. Are travel times between the cities going to take up a chunk of my time?
