So I am here, the final destination: Peru. Spent the first day in Lima, walking around the financial district with a group of Israelis. Tomorrow I head down to the desert, and in a few days will celebrate my birthday in the Andes in Arequipa. I will finish my trip in Cuzco, probably won't hike machu picchu, but will visit for sure. Hey iedereen! Ik ben gister na een lange reis veilig aangekomen in São Paulo. We hadden t vliegtuig om half 1 ´s nachts en kwamen hier rond 4 uur in de nacht aan. Toen moesten we op de airport wachten tot de bus naar Campinas vertrok om 7.30 uur. In Campinas aangekomen moesten we tot ongeveer 12 uur wachten voor we de hotelkamer binnen mochten. Dit was echter geen probleem aangezien we in t meest luxe hotel zitten wat je je voor kan stellen. 4 sterren hotel met alles erop en eraan, zelfs een freaking bios. Approaching Isle Grande

Our first destination after Rio was the costal town of Buzios, made famous by Bridget Bardot during the 60´s, we believe?? Apparently known as Brazil's St Tropez the place consited of fancy bars and restaurants and a host of beautiful beaches. We stayed a couple of nights in the town which was blatently designed to bring in the foreign $$$! Into Ecuador...

Cuenca city

We arrived in cuenca, a colonial city in the south of Ecuador.. back at altitude! On our way we passed millions of bananas... for miles and miles! Cuenca is a really pretty colonial city with beautiful churches and buildings. There is loads to to surrounding it too, including Cajas national park with loads of lakes. We decided to do have some mountain adventures on the back of a horse.. it was really fun. We went through the mountains on horseback and could see amazing views. Santa Cruz is not that far

After a final meal with the Isrealis we spend the last night in our freezing hotel room, a plastic roof desnt hold much or any heat in. The next day we go to get our bus to Sucre but get informed it will only be going to Putosi then we will have to get another bus, refund gained we wait for our 6hr bus to arrive.
