We arrived in Mendoza delayed of course but not too long on this occasion. The jounrey was fine and we had our meals and a great view out the front two seats.
Once we arrived we set out for the local campsite. We did not realise how far out this was ad took us 50minutes on a local bus to get there. The campsite itself was nice aart from the ants and the price. We decided to stay one night and head back to the town the following morning for a hostel as the price was almost the same as camping and it included breakfast.
On the second day we headed off to the Bike Wine tour. This included 4 stops including two wineries, an Olive Oil farm and a Liqor place. The day itself was nice and cycling between the wineries was beauitful and felt a little like France with Vineyards surrounding us on either side. We finished the tour at 7pm and head back to Mendoza where we showered up and headed out for Parilla. We were so stuffed and really enjoyed our last night with some more wine 😉
The following morning after Anne had run half the city without luck trying to send a package back to France we headed for the bus station to Santiago, Chile.
The bus ride itself was beautiful and mostly through the Andes. On this bus I finally got a view of Aconcagua (6960meters) which one day I will conquer but on this trip due to our time left I had to be content with a view of the beast.
We arrived 8 hours later instead of the 6 they told us it would take but we didnĀ“t mind as we had arrived at our last destination not realising what was about to happen!
