Blah is how I feel.
After my overconsumption of libations last night, I fell asleep in my bed last night without any water! A serious error I will not make again. I was extremely thirst and hungover this morning with a nice headache and class at 10am! I woke up 7am again by the loud speaker guy. I found out last night everyone who sells fresh goods to the towns sell them by broadcasting their "products" over loud speaker. So I guess this is something I´m going to have to get used to. My alarm finally went off at 9am. I felt like the walking dead while I got up and dressed. I headed into town for breakfast. Forgot my books for class and walked back to the hotel. I headed back into town when it started raining, so I turned around and headed back to the hostal for my rain jacket. After picking up my last and final item of the morning, I finally made it into town for breakfast. I had breakfast at a new place today. Eggs, granola, pineapple juice, tea, and croissants for 3 bucks.
I met up with Raya and Braeden at school. We hung out upstairs for a few minutes until we met our new instructor Steffie. We ended up having class outside in the rainy weather under an umbrella. We worked on a lot of vocabulary. I´m really impressed with this spanish school. I can actually make sentences and understand what most peple are talking about with only 12 hours of instruction under my belt! Truely amazing.
After the first 2 hours, I grabbed lunch with Raya while Braeden went surfing. My foot was hurting so I decided to take a break and head back to the hostel for a nap. After my nap I headed back to class from 3-5pm. We ended up going over the flash cards again from this morning and some new verbs. After the review we played snakes and ladders with the questions relating to the verbs we learned, conjugation, and flashcards. LOTS OF FUN. Raya won.
After class we grabbed some street food. Yeah, yeah, probably not the brightest thing, but it looked pretty good. Mixed grill shish kabob and corn on the cob...all for 1.75! There was a great pesto sauce that went on it too. Braeden and I partook in the kabobs and corn while Raya just watched...she apparently has a sensitive stomach, so not a good idea. We enjoyed our kabobs so much we ordered another one...just as tasty.
We ended up hanging out in Cocktail Alley until about midnight. I also got hungry again around 11 and made my way back to the kabob stand. I finished off his last kabob!
Went to bed early tonight because we have to be up at 9am for class in the morning!
