So it all had to come to an end eventually, and it did on March 6th when Josh and I both flew out of Peru - Josh headed home, as most of you probably now know, and me off to Guatemala for a week, before hitting up Nuevo York for a few days, and then to my final resting place for a while anyway, London.
After being in the Andes for around 2 months, and being sick and tired of being cold and not seeing the sea, we decided to close out the trip by heading up the coast of Peru to a seaside surf town called Mancora. It meant catching two 16 hour bus rides to get there and back, but we figured it was worth it to get a few days of sea, surf, and sunshine.
And it was a top place. We stayed at a beachside hotel called Sol y Luna, which was nice enough and just spent most of our days on the beach, surfing, swimming (i got caught in a rip and struggled for about 10 mins to get out - quite scary actually), and eating. We didnīt actually do much else, apart from
knocking back a few beers each night with a couple of Americans we met up with (for those who were in Floripa, we managed to catch up with Dallas again for the 5 days by chance which was great), and going to a Full Moon electronic party which wasnīt all that it was cracked up to be.
After spending 5 days up there, we turned around and came back to Lima, where we once again stayed at The Point Hostel, which is one of the best hostels i have ever been to (have i said that before??). As a final dinner for Joshie, we decided that we had to do something a little bit special, and so we raced off to Hooters before his flight. We were both Hooters virgins, and i am very glad to have finally been broken in. It was a good laugh, and my curley fries were a definite hit!!! We got a photo with the girls that you can see below.
Straight after our meal, Josh had to race off to the airport to start his 3 day journey home. It was a real shame to see our trip come to an end together, as it has been a real blast. Hardly any lovers tiffs, lots of laughs, beers, great meals, screaming photos etc. Best of all, the people we met along the way throughout Sth America made the trip such a blast. We managed to meet so many great people, that made every day worthwhile.
So now i am in Guatemala just for a few days, and so far it has been incredibly different to anything South America offered, which is great.
Will update shortly,
Sorry for the boring blog with no pics, especially the hooters one, but my disc that i saved them on isnīt working.

Craigski! You're heading to London? How long for? Am about to head over there myself - end of April. If you're still around, we should meet up for a pint of lager or two (already getting down with the lingo!) x
Droppa i had a tear in my eye reading that. I cant imagine how hard it would be leaving your lover who u have shared everything with over the past few months. Take care buddy
Not long now. The lamingtons and Scones are being baked as we speak. Ben is almost bursting he is so happy that another male is coming. Cant wait to see you - one week!
Hi mate -
Awaiting your arrival is like awaiting prom night!! (What a poof) U have sneakily managed to dodge the shitty weather in london and it is now aceptable, cant wait to have a catchup.
Is green curry ok, or will red have to do, for the inaugural dinner?
