Bolo nam dovolene nahliadnut do domcekov a tito ludia ziju naozaj skromne a vlastnia len to najnutnejsie. Nas si vyzdvihol "nas" senor a odviedol si nas k sebe.
My sme priniesli cestoviny, ryzu, olej, cukor, mlieko, jablcka a citrony a naozaj sme mohli vidiet ze tito ludia to naozaj ocenili. Do tanca nam hrala miestna kapela typicke peruanske piesne a nasa senora nas ani poriadne nenechala vydychnut a v tejto nadmorskej vyske /skoro 4000m/ nam nase hopkanie dalo naozaj zabrat.
In the morning, after a million times, we woke up very early - 6.15. Our plan for next two days was to visit
few lakes on lake Titicaca, only peruvian part. Our first stop were Uros floating islands. Those islands are build from local reed called totora and they are really
floating. Everything on the islands is from reeds - houses, boats, watchtowers and part of the reed is even edible and it tasted bit like very watery watermelon. We were allowed to have a look into their little houses and those people are living very modestly and they seemed to own just necessary stuff. But you could see progress even here. Every island had a few solar panels for simple light bulb, television or radio but that was all electricity was sufficient for. Walking on soft, swinning surface was a funny feeling. Our next stop was island Amantani. For every visitor there is chosen one family to look after them and give them accomodation and make meals. We met "our" senor and he took us into his house. People on this island are quite poor and live mostly from their little fields and our family didnt even have electricity. There arent any roads, car and even dogs on this island. There is a nice custom to bring some food to a family, expacially something they cant get on their island. Our gifts were - pasta, rice, oil, milk, apples and lemons and we could feel they honest happiness. After lunch
we walked up to ceremonial hills - Pachatata and Pachamama where we could see one of the best sunsets ever. After tasty but modest dinner our senora invited us to a local party, but there was a suprise - she gave us their local clothes to change and of course we looked great. Local group performed for us typical peruvians songs and our senora left us hardly to catch our breath and at this altitude /nearly 4000m/ our dancing left left us breathless. Afterwards we return into our tiny room and got to bed in candlelit room which we liked a lot, but I guess these people would be much happier for elektricity.
