Up at 6am. Had breakfast with the family. They really do have very modest living conditions. We had a pancake and fried bread. The mother then walked us down to the boat which was to leave at 7am. It took a couple of hours by boat to get to Uros Islands which are the floating Islands made from reeds. They really are amazing. There is hundreds of these small islands. The one we visited had 6 families living on it. They showed us how the islands are made, which I have put in the photos. James & I went for a ride in the reed boats. We then went back to Puno. They had markets in a lot of the streets so we went down and walked through them. They had food in some streets, clothing in others and house hold goods in others. Some streets looked like very large vinnies as most of the clothes and shoes were pre loved. Some of the shoes were very pre loved. James and a couple of the other boys tried some street food.
