Heading to Huaraz tonight, it's a place known for its natural beauty and hiking opportunities. Also for its extreme altitude. . . Pray for me that I don't pass out. We're going to take the first day slow to acclimate to 10,000 ft. Elvira and I really want to go to the glacier, but it's up at 15,000 ft and we both have problems with altitude. She even got sick in Cuzco. So we'll see. We only have 2 days, which really isn't enough time, but it's the best we can do. I promise to take lots of pictures no matter where we go.
