Map Notes:
Phoenix to Miami Miami to Lima

I arrived Friday night, July 22nd.

Wait, let me back up.

I boarded the plane for Miami a little before 8am. It was an uneventful and extremely long 5 hour (or so) flight. As we approached, though, I began getting quite nervous. The captain kept announcing over the intercom that we were being put into yet another holding pattern before landing and eventually we were going to be landing well after my plane for Lima was supposed to begin boarding, and shortly before the plane was supposed to leave the ground. This didn't sit well with me, especially as I remembered my travels through Philadelphia a few years ago. I don't remember if I was coming or going, but I do remember arriving at the airport and spending the next hour and a half going through another security line to get to the other side of the airport. I still haven't figured out how I could've managed acquiring a bomb on the airplane as I was flying into Philly, that they needed to check me again.... But I was nervous about not having enough time to catch my flight to Lima.

Somehow, after having our landing time pushed back almost an hour, we still managed to land in Miami on time. Go figure.

Miami Intl was very easy to navigate. A short trip on the sky car brought me to my side of the terminal and I was one of the last to board the plan, but still had plenty of time.

I slept most of the way to Lima, and shortly after 9pm, we landed.
