Long trip so far..Peru

Hi everyone

I know it´s been awhile, so our flight to Cusco was fine. Stayed up til 3 am that day to take a transfer(bus) to the arport to catch the 6 am flight. The first day we rested and met Bill, lol. The second day, we went all over Cuzco the town to see museums, churches, convents, etc. The next day wetook atour of the Sacred Valley. Rob Siy was right, they do eat guinea pig here >.< We saw the sunday market, ate at a buffet, and visited one place of Incan Ruins, which was some painful climbing. Actually weclimbed it twice. ahhh. The bus left us there so that we could take our train to aguas calientes, the town under machu picchu. the train was soo slow. bill and Nick met interesting people. An oxford student(for Bill) and people who were shooting a bollywood movie at machu picchu including ashwari !!! who is the one indian actress that i know. we got our hostal settled we got in around 11 pm then had to wake up at 5 am for the morning hike. but i didnt make that. sighss ugh i got sick when i woke up at 4 30 my stomach hurt i successfully took a shower but i still felt like throwing up. Nick was also sick. We got drs to come and I had like 6 medicines and was forbidden to drink regular water. It was travelers diarrhea basically same thing I had in China along with Jenny sighsssssss. I guess I only get sick a few days after I land somewhere, not the day of. But hours later, even though I dindt get to hike up huanapicchu, I took the bus hoping to at least see machu picchu on my own, I found the ot hers, and then took it very slowly from there. the rest were exhausted f rom their morning trek, and i just wanted to sit. i still felt crappy we came back i slept as much as i could, they brought me some rice, and then we slept for a long time. the next day which is really yesterday we took the train back in the morning and then saw more ruins near cusco by minivan and th en came back to the hostal we were originally. the boys left last night. oh man gonna miss them bc they were fun. now its me and 4 girls.

tonight = 12 hr bus ride to arequipa overnight, not sta ying in a hostal tonight, haha..... cant believe we still have 10 more days of this, i might go crazy.
i miss our trip to china a lot, it was so much fun even tho we were pretty lame sometimes haha. i think a lot about how diff it would be to be traveling with all asians instead of all whites. yes iknow its horrible but i just feel like it would be very different. and of course traveling with people you know really well vs. people u still have to be all fake nice around, jkjk, i do genuinely care about these people, but sometime sthey make me mad with the things they say, like i have said before, the äll white dinner, and nonsense like that. and indians are very cheap. like wtffff. ooo i miss you guys so much...sighs... i miss tufts so much too. i am so ready to go back home and go back to tufts. i wish i could explain better how i feel but rest assured its how everyone else feels and someone is also not staying a year anymore too....

gahh this trip is so long we dont get onto a bus to santiago until the 19th and i have so much work due the week we come back shiiiit an essay and a history test the history class which ive missed so many classes for bc of this trip and other things. we are missing so many classes omggg.

i hope amy has a safe flight tomorrow!!!! yay for londonnnn. im sure it will be really great and much better ...

the rest of our trip entails arequipa> arica> iquique> san pedro for a few days>24 hr bus ride>santiago.

oh someone save me please... oo my tummy..
