Toro Muerte
The desert of Toro Muerte
Scientists are not sure if they were from the Wari indians, but they are pre-inca regradless.
The sculpting mainly exists of zig zag lines, depicting water, animals, like llama, alpacas and vicunas, condors, snakes, mouse, rat, dogs, cats and ofcourse dancing indians. Enjoy!

oh btw the Volcan of Ubinas, is about to erupt! All local villagers have been evacuated and a lot of animals have been killed.
Arequipa will remain unaffected as the vulcan is located some 80 km from here.

Also make sure to visit from 7 a.m till 10 a.m After this time photography becomes harder with the intense sunlight. 4p.m till 6p.m is also good.

Was hier ook op t.v. Hartverscheurend! Een vrouw vertelde, dat ze nu alles kwijt ging raken: dieren, huis etc. Wat een nare dingen gebeuren er toch af en toe! Mooie foto's trouwens. Peru komt steeds hoger op de lijst te staan!

mooi hoor, hebben wij niet bezocht, wel stom achteraf. Zo te zien bezoek je echt alles. Jaloers makend, dat wel. We gaan nog maar een keertje terug naar P, doen dan gelijk de Colca canyon. Hier inmiddels erg heet met temperaturen alweer dicht bij de 30 graden. Nog even en we snakken weer naar een frisse bui. Adios Ien
