Hallo ihr lieben Nach laengerer Pause melde ich mich nun einmal wieder mit einem neuen Bericht, mit neuen Eindruecken und Erlebnissen und natuerlich auch viel Bildmaterial zum anschauen. Die letzten Wochen, bzw der letzte Monat war recht ruhig im Vergleich zu den vorherigen. Die meiste Zeit habe ich in Guayaquil und damit verbracht das letzte Jahr zu rekapitulieren und alles zu verarbeiten, was ich bisher schon erlebt, gesehen und entdeckt habe und natuerlich auch um ueber neue Ziele und Moeglichkeiten fuer dieses Jahr nachzudenken. Meine grossartige Denkleistung wurde kurzzeitig unterbrochen von einem spontanen Besuch aus der Heimat - meine Mutti gab mir die Ehre sich allein in einen Flieger zu setzen und von Muenchen bis hier her nach Ecuador zu fliegen und sich ihrer panische Angst vor Verstaendigungsschwierigkeiten zu stellen. Hello all, Well folks, what can i say, things have been hectic, i hope the pictures can wxplain better than my quick words, new year and xmas very different, I got sun burnt putting up a christmas tree. We burnt dolls in the street and ate 12 grapes for new year, also had to run around the block with an empty bag to keep up with tradition! all a bit strange but great fun. The first art project has finished and i have now started a new project for carnaval!!! So after a long awaited blog, I want to welcome you all to 2007 I know its a bit late, but I havent seen you all and some of you I've never met. Well alot of shit has happened since xmas and new years and I'm trying to remember it all from my journals and theres so much I dont even know where to start. I just wanted you all to know that I'm completely nuts for doing this trip. With this experience I dont think I'll ever do this again. Thinking back on my service trip to Duran, I recall many beautiful moments with even more beautiful people. Behind the Gauderia! That was more of a joke about the year long volunteer and one of my fellow retreatents, but the real pleasure working in this daycare was the bright smiles of the little kids or the herd of 4 year olds that grabbed hold of any free limb that wasn't occupied by another of their peers. I discovered that Old Mc Donald had some pretty crazy animals on his farm....who would have thought a hippo, gorilla and giraffe could live in harmony with the chickens and the cows! Hallo ihr Lieben! Ich hoffe ihr alle hattet ein wunderschoenes Weihnachtsfest und einen fleissigen Weihnachtsmann! Auch ich hatte letztendlich ein schoenes Fest, wovon ich euch natuerlich kurz berichten moechte und euch mit ein paar Fotos zeigen moechte. Das erste weihnachtliche Event war eine kleine Weihnachtsfeier mit Freunden vom Park. Kurze Erklaerung dazu...das sind alles Nannies mit den Kindern, die sie betreuen, und alle ungefaehr im gleichen Alter wie Mily oder ich. Die meisten sind auch nicht von Ecuador, sondern von den unterschiedlichsten Laendern Sued Amerikas. Wir haben Pizza bestellt, Cookies gebacken, getanzt und gewichtelt und hatten viel Spass zusammen. Als sich die kleine Feier dem Ende neigte spielten wir noch Flaschendrehen, mit Wahrheit oder Pflicht.
