Backpacker budget blown sky high!!

Despite the title our Galapagos trip was worth every dollar. We forgot we were backpackers for eight days of heaven on our luxury catamaran (Queen of Galapagos), taking in all the sights, sounds and experiences. What an amazing place…it really is like being in a different world.

Our whole trip was brilliant from start to finish …fantastic crew, guide and group, stunning beaches, wildlife posing for your pictures everywhere you look, plus phenomenal marine life. Where in the world can you swim with playful sea lions, watch a dozen turtles gently glide through the water, spot a reef shark hiding in it’s cave and see manta rays drift along the sea bed all in one snorkeling session? I will treasure these experiences for a long long time......

Note: The Galapagos Islands should not to be missed if visiting Ecuador. Use the good old CC and worry about the money when you get back, you won't be disappointed. Book your trip in Ecuador if possible and last minute, it will be much cheaper. Our trip was book 3 weeks before departure (through Happy Gringo) we saved well over $1000 US pp.
