August, 2006 Here's the plan: I leave September 1st, go down to San Diego, cross that border, and then I'm in Mexico! I'll go down Mexico to Central America, go through all the countries there, then into South America. I want to make it to Rio di Janero in Brazil by Carnival, to meet some very good friends. these are larvae inside the fruit cask. But, how were the bugs in the Amazon? Absolutely tame, compared to my last summer in Maine. Hardly any mosquitoes. As long as the pirhanas don't eat you, you can have a really nice time...
