Decided to take a cab up the coast, we were going to get the bus but it took 5 hrs and was about 2 quid, cab however was air conditioned, took about 2 and a half hrs and cost about 8 quid..No contest really.

This place is a proper Colombian holiday resort so well busy and of course nobody can speak English. Got a hotel called Casa Familiar which if my Espanol is getting any better must translate to "cockroach ridden 5hithole", only a dollar a night though so mushn´t grumble as the boy lard would say....decided right away one night only here and we´re gone....

Nice beaches here mind you and loads of bars along the front, went to an area called El Rodadero found a nice little boozer and ended up staying there the night, got drinking with a couple of local girls, and at the stroke of midnight they sung Happy Birthday to me..However over here they really struggle to say Alex and call me Alice....I´d prefer Alan!!

These 2 girls took us to a nightclub which they opened especially for us, so there was a grand total of 4 people there, had a bit of fun with the girls but decided to leave as it was a bit of a dive.
