I slept until almost 10, I was on the road at about 11, have taken the route of the coast to a series of caves there, old lava tubes, Rapa Nuis used to live there. The first is basically a hole in the ground , if you crawl inside expands slightly and can you can stand in it the other 2 ways out of the cave are cuts on the cliff overlooking the sea, hence the name "two windows". Here I met within 3 Argentininas and a stray dog that was following them from Hanga Roa. I gave it a piece of bread, and after that has followed me the rest of the day. The next cave is bigger, also a collapsed lava tube. After that I reached another Ahu, with all its Moai fallen and scattered around. And then you get to another cave more, Ana Te Pahu, this is the largest of all, there are trees and a banana plantation emerging from inside it, has several rooms, in which the structures which served as the foundation are houses are founded inside. There is a piece of a collapsed roof every certain distance, so there is some light here. Hence back crossing the farms to Hanga Roa. The dog has been trying to catch something all day, without success, and when it saw a calf in the field has gone after it, soon a huge bull came and both dog and me had to make a detour to avoid the bull blocking the road. On arrival at Hanga Roa I have dispatched the dog in a park, I've left it with some workmen who were resting there. The dog was 2 hours later on companion of 2 girls walking to the crater of Rano Kau, it is the official tourist dog. I've done some souvenir shopping, I got a bike for tomorrow and have made my check-in for Monday
