Ghost town

This was once the salitrera Buenaventura. The Atacama desert is littered with this old "salitreras". In this places is were saltpeter was mined from the end of the XIX century to the beginning of the XX century. Now they are all ghost towns.

One of the few concrete buildings. Most of them are made of saltpeter bricks.
