I know Concha y Toro wines from when i was living in London. You can imagine how excited i was to be able to visit the winery (it was my birthday present to myself)

what a wonderful trip! i'm glad you were able to wander the hills of valparaiso. it's such an intresting, if a bit grubby, city. just one comment. valparaiso is NOT a colonial city. there is not one single colonial building there. the city was, in fact, never even officially founded by the spanish. that is to say, it was never officially laid out and planned by the spanish, it just sprang up as a port town all on its own. anyway, i hope you enjoyed your time in chile and got to drink plenty of wine and pisco sours. saludos! james
