plne bahna a spiny. Este stale tam nebola elektrina a ani tecuca voda. V meste volakedy zilo okolo 5000 ludi, teraz ich tam je len 500. Vecer sme planovali kempovat, dom majitelov sa rekonstruoval a mali tam par prazdnych miestnosti. Nevadilo im ze tam spime a my sme nemuseli rozkladat stan.
Chiloe is an island and so the only way to get out, except flying, was to take a ferry. The ferry was leaving at 9 am from half an hour distanced Castro. Day before we were reasured that from 7am there are every 10 minutes minibuses to get there. So we got to a bus stop and there was nothing, probably because of yesterdays celebration, finally there was one at 8. We managed to get to the ferry 15 minutes before it left. We were nicely suprised, there where comfortable wide seats nad even TV. Firstly we were passing little green islands, but scenery slowly changed into snowed peaks without anything green - this is a proper Patagonia. Our final stop was Chaiten, where we were met by a seal playing around our ferry. Chaiten was in 2008 destroyed by volcano of a same name. It didnt
erupted, but caused a eartquake, thanks to which was formed a lake in a mountains above the town. They knew about the "lake", so nobody died but evevybody had to be evacuated for more than month. Then, one day all the water with rocks and tress flooded the town and destroyed it. We walk around and went to a beach full of destroyed houses and stuff from them. Some houses survived but were still full of mud and dirt. There was still no running water or electricity. There used to live 5000 people, but now just 500. In the evening we planned to camp, but house of a landlord was in reconstruction, full of empty rooms. He didnt mind us to use one of them and so we didnt have to pitch our tent.
