Going to Chillán

Well...Its kinda been an eventful few days. I hurt my ankle on Tuesday so didnt ride weds of thurs, and just played a bit of guitar (i can now play a whole song!) and watched films. Last night we went out...and i managed to give myself some sort of food poisoning! I tried these mussels from a can...i thought, they're probably gonna be rank as they are from a can and not fresh,but gave them a whirl anyway. I only had 3 little pieces, but 2 hours later felt horrendous at the bar, luckily i hadnt really had anything to drink! I was sick, but then after sitting down and eating some bread for an hour or so felt a lot better. Today im as right as rain!! (Which apparently its doing a lot of over there, hardy ha ha)

Today i went out for the afternoon but rode in switch (other leg forwards) as this didnt hurt my ankle so much. Its pretty weird and like being a beginner again. I also managed to fall and crack my phones screen which is gay, but i can still just about see everything and use it ;) Didn't stay out long cos i guess its best to rest my foot.

Anyway...theres a competition happening down in a resort about 6 hours south of here called Chillán. Quite a few guys from here are going down and entering and i wanted to go but it would cost me like 25 squid a day for a lift pass which i cant really afford. So after a bit of persuasion iv decided to enter the girls slopestyle (in the park). Apparently there shouldnt be too many girls there so hopefully no one will be incredible and i wont stick out like a sore thumb...in a bad way. I then get a 4 day free lift pass, and they'll be cocktail and jacuzzi parties and stuff...nice.

Iv managed to get myself a lift down there with a Chilean dude, so tomorrow im gonna head to Santiago, stay there for a night, then a group of us will leave Sunday and hopefully arrive in resort by the evening. Staying in a hostel for about 6quid a night. Should be good fun!!

So thats the plan for the mo jo. I'll give you all an update on how i get on...or if i do really bad maybe ill leave that bit out...when i get back to El Colorado next week.
