Getting up at 3:30am in the morning is crazy. Going up to 4800m height is even crazier. Changing warm and comfortable 35 degrees with 7 degrees below zero is stupid. Doing it all during a holiday is helpless.

But it is worth it when you go and see the geysirs of Tatio.
