Olinda carnaval

it was sad to leave the beachfront apartment in Natal but we have to move on. i will never forget our bus trip into town, only to get on a coach to olinda who displayed similar qualities. i dont mind a fast bus but driven by a host of would-be ayrton sennas is worth a few caipirinhas before 9am.
olinda is a stunning town - cobbled streets, colourful houses and bands of drums kicking off the evenings at sunset walking through the streets. our first taste of carnarval!!
only problem with this town is it made me sick and i know i got ripped off at every turn. their favourite term in english is ´no stress´ but it is mucho stresso when tired and sick.
