This newsletter requested each of us to let Jim know if we were interested in participating in the “demonstration” with regard to Sjoelbak (Dutch Shuffleboard). As each of you is aware, Michael Zellner has responded to Jim with a CC to us, as follows: “Dear Jim, I've read the rules of Sjoelbak and would like to play against one of their hot shots then as a jester of good sportsmanship, I would like to honor of playing against that same person on one of our courts, hopefully to redeem myself in front of my International friends. This should be a great match!! For the very few who may not know Michael, we thought it would be an opportune time to tell you just a bit about him!!! He now lives in Brazil; he is married to Ivone, who just happens to be the woman in the photo. That particular photo was taken about 3 days after their marriage which took place in Las Vegas. This was their actual Wedding Invitation to me. Regretfully I was unable to attend. Michael And Ivone
are getting Married on March 12, 2004 at 18:00 at th e "Always and Forever" Chapel in Las Vegas and you are invited ! Come join Michael & Ivone and the entire Brazilian Shuffleboard Team on this joyous occasion.
Let’s all wish Michael and Ivone an early 4th Wedding Anniversary. Just in case you wondered why Michael and Ivone chose Los Vegas, 2004 was the year the ISA held their tournament in Mesa, Arizona. Michael and Ivone participated as they have done each year since. Michael also organized a most successful ISA Event in Rio de Janeiro in 2005.
From all of us HAPPY Wedding Anniversary and Good Luck on your challenge at the Tulip Inn in Amsterdam!!!

February 24th 2008 - Michael Zellner: Thanks for the memories
Dear Stan and shuffleboard community, While the majority of you are all celebrating silver and golden anniversaries we are just getting started. Thanks for remembering our special day and most of all thanks for reminding me. I will get my wife a gift tomorrow lest I forget again. hahahah
That summer in 2004, I lost almost all of my games on those glass courts of Arizona but that doesn't matter because immediatly afterwards I won the best trophy of my life, my wife Ivone. Thanks to all for remembering our day.
