Lapa

this will be short and sweet and we are on a budget and don´t have that much money for the net!

we finally left the cold of london to arrive in the RAIN OF RIO! (its like taking a warm shower with clothes...)

we have been here in rio de janerio for 4 days and have seen all the major sights- copacabana beach, sugar loaf mountian, the statue of christ among other things.

we are now like the locals as we have mastered the bus system... pity we are leaving tomorrow!

some quick stories:
jaya is supposed to be on dog duty... ie trying to keep them away from suhi, fat lot of good she has been so far!!!
here´s manjit´s and suhi´s version of events...
we were on ipanema beach in the evening watching the waves and making friends with local kid... when out of the blue a dog started chasing the kid and jaya thought the best way 2 protect suhi was 2 stand on a bench as if thats gona do anything.

Jaya´s Version: This is propaganda, i want to go and drink a milkshake at bob´s!! Manjit just wants to use the internet time up so she´s trying to make the story dramatic.

manjit: it was dramatic and hilarious... our tummies even started hurting cos we laughed sooo much!!! what a way to end jaya´s special birthday... :-D

ok, we are off to have milkshake and icecream and just to let you all know we are off to the amazon tomorrow and will probably post something up week... sorry about the lack of pictures, we have no time to do them now!
