From Riches to Rags

So we arrive in Buzioz,dubbed by some as the st tropez of Brazil. We check in at our hostel, and after some skilful negotiation on my side, Dani begins to understand the importrance of us upgrading to a private luxury room. The rest of the week follows suit with beach buggies, resteraunts, beaches, sunsets and all the boring stuff that comes with it. We "smarten up" even more and discover the hostels have kitchens!Digging into my extensive cooking knowledge I put together a feast for us(2 minute noodles with roast chicken from the supermarket)- still Dani is kind enough to pretend she likes it. We leave with special memories and serious damage to our budget. Dani now uses some "skillful negotition" to convince me that to compensate for the overindulgence we need to lean to the other extreme and check into a 12 person dorm room in Rio, as she says " we can meet more people this way." Walking into the Dorm I am met at by 2 rude bitches who don't respond when I say hi.Bitches!Great way to meet more people I think to myself. The next day we discover the 2 girls are deaf! (on the flipside this has its advantages, turns out they are really quiet) and even though we don't have the deepest conversations they actually really sweet girls. Next stop- Amazon Jungle
