so after recovering from the trauma our bodies went through in carnival, we suffered another 24 hour bus ride, with no air conditioning to Foz de Iguacu. We met Cindy and Johnny at the bus station, because we were both trying to figure out how to get to Bolivia from here, and we have been travelling together ever since.
Besides the sketchy hotel with the influx of single old men and the filling up of random buses out the back with cargo..this place is amazing
We spent yesterday on the Brazil side of the falls, and today trekking throught the Argentinian side of the falls. Some may wonder how it is possible to spend 2 full days staring at waterfalls, but if you aren~t convinced by the pictures..i have 20 minutes of video tape.
We have ran into a bit of a problem, as we cannot find a proper way to get to Bolivia, without waiting for days on the side of the road for the death train to come in and spend 3 more days riding on a wooden bench, so we are heading back to Buenos Aires for the 4th time tomorrow with Cindy and Johnny,
Flamingos
We went to a bird park, of all things...Tenielle sat and watched the flamingos, the only NONE scary birds while every one else went through the park
Getting up close and wet
It was really nice after walking in +45 degrees all day to get the mist from the falls

Come on, Tenielle, travel all that way, and there's some glaringly obvious omissions from your stories...where's the beef? Are there any good looking men or only transvestites?
Still cold here, although it's been freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw, usually ending with freeze!
Do you have a return date for your tickets or are you just going with the flow (or until you run out of money - although that doesn't look like a problem based on your gambling winnings!) Is there no other way to get to Bolivia but by the death train (why do you call it that, by the way?)
Anyway, be safe and look forward to your return.

February 14th 2005 - : What a dull life I lead!
Hey girls,
I just got back from Florida, and it was positively bland compared to what you're seeing and doing. Incredible pictures and amazing experiences! I liked the girl with the doggy purse's costume...really simple. We are into final rehearsals for the workshop shows at EMT Jo. Daniel is with Pirates of Penzance and won't be finishing the workshop...only Kristin, John, Chris and I are left of the "oldies". Brad and Barb had a baby...a little boy named Samuel...Barb and Sam are doing well. My son Ted leaves for Japan in March...will be teaching english there for a year...I'm jealous. Keep safe and healthy!

Ok, It does not look like you two are having much fun and are having a hard time finding friends, so it looks like Carl and myself are going to have to come with you two party animals next time to show you how to meet friends, drink draft beer and party Ha ha Brent Looks like you are have a great time, WOW what a great trip - cold in Canada
