I know I have been a little slow on putting up pictures, it can be tough to find an adequate connection. Here are a few from Copacabana, La Paz, and Arequipa.

A short update. President Evo Morales, of Bolivia, is working to redraft Bolivia´s constitution, so that it would allow for presidential candidates to be re-elected indefinitely.
Protests and riots have been ongoing throughout the country for the past few months, and recently a student was killed in the city of Sucre. While I was in La Paz the city was under curfew, and I was told that it was much more strict in other cities. Not wishing to end up on the evening news as the gringo who put his nose into somewhere it shouldnt have been, I have decided to postpone Bolivia for another time.

Not sure that Bolivia is known as a Naval power, yet they may be one of the only land-locked countries on the earth that actually have a navy. Maybe they are worried about a possible attack by Peru via Lake Titicaca

I was a bit disgusted with just how many people were happily playing with the birds while being covered with droppings. Kate got away lucky

La Paz is slowly taking over all of its surrounding hills and valleys.
